Piano Sonata in F, Episode 1

I sketched out the structure of the first movement while waiting for a concert by three sopranos to begin with a bit more added during intermission, though the only connection between the sketch and the music heard is temporal. The first eight bars are an introduction in C seasoned with A minor.

The next nine are roughly in F with some echoes of the introduction included.

Bars 18 through 26 extend the chordal structure of the preceding section on the dominant, forming the first subject.
